I could see UTC doing a FU with everyone coming back to get the gold next year and getting revenge on FU for knocking them out this year which was their only loss in their last 18 games.

I didn’t know much about the new postseason tournament until I looked into it. Is the being in the new College Basketball Crown going to be better than being in the NIT? It seems as though the NIT is going to have to make changes or it is going to die.

First time for ANY Southern Conference team to EVER win the NIT.
When WVU won the NIT in 1942, WVU was yet not in the Southern Conference. WVU joined the Southern Conference 8 years later, 1950.
(By the way, WVU has now hired the University of North Texas head coach - whose team ended Furman’s season a few days ago.)

Glad UTC won. Irvine guard Che who transferred FROM UTC was obnoxious. UTC misses 2 FTs at the end and then Irvine misses the bunny layup to win it. Refs were bad

To be fair, FUBeAR knows the gangly CanuckMoc missed a 3 to win it when they inbounded with 1.5 seconds left in regulation. Wasn’t he also the Moc who missed a “bunny layup” to win it when they previously inbounded with about 8 seconds to play in regulation?

So, the Anteater would have never had a chance to miss the bunny if the Canadian Mockingbird had hit his bunny. Right?
