I feel like this will be an adequate litmus test to see how we stack up against other good mid majors/higher level programs, good thinking by Bob Richey to have us participate

Not fair - he’s made all of 6 baskets for his beloved Tigers/War Eagles/Plainsmen this season. That’s not nuthin’

Two great things happening today...

1. Clempson losing to Wade
2. Dins getting an occassional mention in woofy game

The one reason most non-woofy non-socon non-vol folks were watching game was to see filewitch try a FT

Sadly, they were all dissappointed

…and FUBeAR was extremely disappointed that these teams fell 85 cumulative absolute value points short of his desired outcome for this contest.

Watching Xavier and Illinois. Wonder if Harlan, Van Gundy, and Bonner know Foster played very well for Furman in the victory over Virginia that they broadcast. If so, I haven't heard them mention it.

So far the Xavier offense doesn't feature Foster. He's barely touched the ball. But on D his man hasn't scored a point.

Chattanooga beat Dayton by 15 at home today in front of a great crowd. Represented the SoCon well. They move on to the quaterfinals.

Go Mocs!

Like those guys. Like to beat ‘em on the gridiron and the hardwood, but they are, overall, respectable with mostly knowledgeable, and mostly friendly, fans.

Hope they win it all.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
