He had 1 basket and 1 rebound in 11 minutes. I’m sure he will play more when the coaches think it’s warranted. It’s too late in the season to add players in the mix.

Yep, at this point the 10 that played at Samford and vs. VMI should be the same 10 lineup we run the rest of the season.............

To win the tourney we must find an extra offensive gear somewhere. I see long offensive dry spells with the 10 we are using.

You're not getting offense from Humphries or Smith this season, just the way it is.........

Best of luck to him. I liked his potential but there was just never a way for him to crack the rotation this season. He'll be a good pickup for any team

Makes sense, was not going to be in the rotation next season either most likely, best of luck to him

Sorry to see him go. He seemed to have good energy and attitude even though he wasn't playing much.

Right move for him I’m afraid, he was the first one I thought of as a possible departure. I’d like to see kids we recruit out of high school given more of a shot but kinda hard when you’re bringing in more experienced players each year via the portal.

Sometimes guys straight out of HS need a little time. BR has shown he will redshirt and try to train up and allow time for his recruits to physically mature. Harder to do that with the portal system and so much more player movement.

Clay Mounce red-shirted, then played some his first year before moving into the lineup his third season. He blossomed with time. Gurley redshirted and was on schedule to do the same before Andrew Brown's injury required him to move into the starting lineup.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
