When we got to 13-1 in 1931, what teams among the 13 were the comparable level of CIU, Oglethorpe, and Montreat?

Clempson, SC and UGA.

For now, I'll think the way Sad Din thinks, not the way FU Hoopla thinks.
Do it IN the conference, including in the SoCon Tournament, before you talk so highly about it.
I do recognize and acknowledge that the team has done great so far, and I am grateful for that.

Well we know you have predicted some losses already so what difference does it make which frame of mind you take
Let's talk highly about it as it deserves to be, OOC portion DONE at 12-1, some great wins over Princeton and Belmont and only loss at Top 10 Kansas....
Going for the best start in FU hoops since 1931 (93 years ago) on Jan. 1st (13-1) if we play solid TEAM ball like we have!
Time for everyone to get on board and let's freaking GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Who all did we beat to get to win 13 of the first 14 games that season?
What was our overall final W-L record that season?
You like to ask a lot of questions that can easily be found in a minute or two. It's the gofurman method on the football forum.

Furman has great record books at FurmanPaladins.com: https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/side ... d_Book.pdf

In 1931-32, we finished the season 15-1:
19-8 W Davidson
16-37 L North Carolina
31-24 W South Carolina
43-14 W The Citadel
26-24 W College of Charleston
33-13 W Wofford
24-18 W Clemson
28-17 W Newberry
29-22 W Newberry
33-18 W College of Charleston
22-19 W South Carolina
41-15 W Presbyterian
23-11 W The Citadel
23-19 W Clemson
54-13 W Presbyterian
20-18 W Wofford

My main takeaway is that PC was terrible that year.

We got revenge on UNC at the North/South Doubleheader in Charlotte in ‘77 or thereabouts.

Ahh yes, Jewish Progressive was our only loss in 1929, but we got revenge on those boys in 1930 baby!

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
