That was an impressive second half. Tough D down the stretch.

PJ separated shoulder last Sat. Scores 25 today. Tough hombre. Only took 11 shots. How efficient is that?

Another great road win.

This team plays together as good as any team I have seen in a long time. The players that don't shoot well don't take a lot of shots. They do other things like play defense, rebound, pass, etc. That's the recipe for winning.
Not only did Pjay score 25, he was the leading rebounder, assist leader and on top of that held their leadng scorer to 4 points. Pretty good day I’d say.

First half was frustrating at times, especially the missed layups. I think there were at least 4 arms length range misses. And a weak finish to the half to let Harvard back into the game. Despite trailing at the half I felt confident we would respond in the second half and we did. Harvard has seven freshmen and I expected our veterans would turn it up a notch on the intensity scale.

Is Hughey out now? Did not see him tonight.

Harvard play by play guy had the two worst calls I've seen/heard in my life. Pretty impressive for one game.

First was when House got the ball to Bowser 12 feet from the basket, then Bowser drove for his first big dunk and the guy called it a 3 pointer from House. He tried to explain subsequently the mistake was because House had a positive reaction to the play (as did the entire team due to Bowsers slam). But I don't understand how a thunderous dunk can be mistaken for a three pointer from a different player.

Second and even worse probably was later when paladins scored a 3 and then a Harvard guy responded while Vanderwal was guarding him. Harvard guy credits Vanderwal with the 3 - ok, understandable name mixup I guess - but then adds that Vanderwal had made it back to back 3s for Furman, meaning the guy couldn't tell which team has scored. Someone told him to correct the name mixup but being unable to tell the teams apart went unaddressed.

Unintentionally hilarious

Hughey was on the bench cheering on his teammates as usual. I hope he was being held out for a minor injury and not out of the rotation. He is a selfless player that does not score a lot of points but has a skillset that I think we need especially when we play teams with a lot of physicality. I don't think he has ever developed his full potential but is still an important veteran player. He's always been one of my favorite players on the team.
