Make a few more free throws and a couple more 3’s and we win by 20. Good win on a poor shooting day from the stripe and the arc.

That was a big time win and to do it without PJ the last couple of minutes was huge.

Memo to Princeton. The scoreboard still says Furman 69 Prince's 63. Deal with it.

As for the free throws. Those guys have got to be practicing so it must be mental. On the other hand I read an article about Michael Jordan's freshman year at UNC and how he struggled with his shot. Coach Smith said it was because his hands were so big it was like shooting a volley ball. He eventually got it right!

Princeton, like a lot of teams from the northeast, incorporate a lot of physicality into their game I think of as "city ball" or "NYC chippy." A lot of little bumps and nudges and quick hand checks that aren't enough for the officials to notice but enough to throw off the timing and comfort level of guys not used to it. Especially true of younger, less experienced players. I thought they were doing that late in the first half and into the second half and it effected our play. The counter is to play tougher, especially mentally. There are ways to take advantage of it if you are clever. In any case you just need to play through it and don't get distracted.

A very good win. One of the best we may have all season. Also another come from behind win which is a very good sign.

When the opponent takes a 6-7 point lead, PJ takes it personally on offense and defense.

Love hearing our players excitement about how the crowd got into the game and loud around the 10 minute mark in the second half, said it felt like the Kansas game!
That's big time folks ;)
