New OL offer. Probably PWO. Huge kid.

Yes, I think he's a PWO. Furman has extended a number of PWO offers in the last couple of months, especially at OL.

We might be mostly done with offered HS kids for now. After off season attrition, I imagine Furman will take a couple portal guys at key spots and a few HS kids based on the numbers. Furman added 4 HS kids at the February signing day and 2 of them have already played 4 games this year. Still some good kids available after the December signing day.

Furman loses a commitment from TN offensive lineman. Kinda had a feeling this was coming after he started posting offers from ETSU and UT Martin.

“Commitments” don’t always de-commit. Sometimes they get themselves cut.

There was a kid who “flipped” late last year in which that was the case.

Not sure if that was the case with Dorton, but it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they decided not to fill his spot with a high school lineman and instead try to get a guy out of the portal to fill that spot. Clay mentioned earlier this year that they were still a little light on lineman numbers from where they want to be, which is why you saw four commitments. We’ll see what happens. I believe there are still at two or three offers still out for offensive lineman.

Need to hit the portal hard this off-season in a lot if not all areas.

Yes. Kind of like what’s happening in top tier basketball. I hope we get just two or three transfers this year.

We do. Huff. Pline. The FSU guy at TE and the DB this year (sorry his name escapes me) who is playing. The LT from ETSU. those were Al contributors of varying levels. Some absolute KILLERS. Huff. Pline - Huff now at G5 starting. Pline in NFL !!! Personally I would like to see OL and Qb. For depth and competition. Just like the LT and Huff.

Caleb Easterling commits!

Reports offers from Wofford, Charleston Southern, and Savannah St.

1316 all purpose yard (521 rushing, 239 receiving, 486 return yards), 11 TDs
32 tackles, 8 pass break ups, 3 INTs

Could play a couple of positions. Seems pretty fast. Always good to get some more speed.

We need to get bigger on both los.
6’8” 255 DE
6’6” 295 and 6’4” 305 Shrine Bowl linemen

Feels like we’re trying…

Brady Smith is only 6’2” 280 but he’s going to be the next guy at center so I think that’s ok for that spot.

We've recruited big frame guys on both sides of the ball recently. Just need to let them develop.

The 2026 team is going to be physically imposing.

Watched the film. Looks like an exciting player. Not sure where he plays, but he sort of feels like a Colton Hinton type guy - shorter slot guy, kick returner, and dude you just try to get the ball out to.

Reminder: I believe the signing day is December 4, so we'll be turning this list around pretty quick.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
