FUWolfpacker said “sure, he’s not SEC talent”. Which means teams we face aren’t scared of him. But y’alll don’t even note that. Only mine. See the bias ?
Dude, don’t bring me into this. What I said is not equal to what you said. The majority of the best players in the SoCon aren’t SEC level talent but that doesn’t mean they can’t compete at any level on a given day. Also, if you think SoCon coaches aren’t game planing (what you would call “scared”) for Colton you’re deceiving yourself.

Colton Hinton is absolutely a problem, we know it, other teams know it. I think the staff has done of good job of scheming ways to get him the ball in space and the successful fourth down play at ETSU was prefect example of that. And he got it done.

I bet Ryan Miller wasn't "SEC Talent" when he was a sophomore either. But by the time he was a senior he might have been. Now he's NFL Talent. Furman develops players.

I liked how Hinton was used against ETSU more than I have the previous few weeks. Giving Hinton the ball behind the line of scrimmage this year hadn’t gone the way we hoped, but finding a way to slip him out into open space the way we did was a good call. Hinton is fast enough to beat almost anyone to that corner in that scenario.

It must make goFu feel so good to pick and pick and pick…
The two snipers join forces ! Astro and FUPlayer74. Snipe and snipe and snipe. Such bias. Discrimination. Y’all worry me.

FUWolfpacker said “sure, he’s not SEC talent”. Which clearly means some teams (SEC) that we face aren’t scared of him. But y’alll dont even note that. Only mine. See the bias ?

Either note both or neither.

Astro is NOT a positive guy. At least FUWolfpacker had the sack to say paraphrase “it’s picky but yeah he’s not an SEC guy”

Let me shoot straight with y’all. I have seizures. Epilepsy. I’ve shared that. A great friend just DIED from the pain of one Saturday. Flagman is well aware. we have been discussing it. I realize you weren’t aware. I do. I’m fair that way. But you two NEVER concern yourselves with the welfare of others. You just Snipe away. Knowing what you now know you could at least apologize or say something kind. Just a “sorry to hear that man” or something. I doubt 74 will. Astro might. I lost a great friend AND had it reinforced what could happen to me at any minute. GF
I thought this board was supportive. I share this and No one replies ? WOW. TELLING. No, not telling…. UNBELIEVABLE. JUST RUDE. can’t even send me a PM saying “sorry to hear that?” F that man. Astro… I’m waiting. Heres your chance. My friend dies in a related way to a disability I have. You can’t take one minute out of your day to reply??? Or FUPlayer74? Where you at? If someone shared this with me I would immediately reply at least to say “hey, was unaware, but sorry to hear all that”

Instead people go on about football…. Which is fun but Not important.

What’s also telling - FAR FAR FAR less, but a little telling - is my original post asked about the eligibility status of a player. I Had to start another thread to get an answer. Astro and 74 only want to snipe. They don’t answer legit questions

Here was post 94143. Literal Copy and paste.

“ If you are going to emphasize "ANY" - and you did... I would check the box scores. Against Ole Miss Hinton had 5 catches for FOURTEEN yards - a 2.8 yard per reception average. Colton is GREAT. I LOVEthat we have him. But he ain't SEC talent - no need to respond with a "you are full of it". The post specifically said "ANY" competition - that doesn't hold up vs the SEC-type level. When I saw the post I was intrigued... thought "wow, he must have done better than I recall at Ole Miss"

Interestingly Josh Harris and Josh Burrell DID hold up vs Ole Miss. Which pains me. the two possible best options we had were lost for the year.

QUESTION - Is Josh Burrell eligible to play for us again next year? “”

——————————-

You can see I even separated the question from the other. But Astro nor 74 take the time to answer the question. A question I really wanted to know the answer to. But they take the time to Snipe. Step back and reconsider

FUATT, on the other hand, answered the actual Question in another thread - Question. Answer. Simple. Thank you FUATT !

I think Burrell returns next year.

People don't respond to comments about epilepsy or seizures because they don't know much about it. I think the board knows football, Furman, goofy stuff, and college memories. Debilitating neurological conditions are just not a common touchstone. There's no call for this to be upsetting.

Let's get back to the point: Hinton has salad hair. I looked around at the young men at dinner tonight (the local taco diner), and bunches of young men had that hair style. I had casually thought they had no hairstyle at all, but observing it seems its a thing. Kinda like goat yoga or autoerotic asphyxiation.

I do not know what to think of his facial hair. I would think on principle it needs to go. That would be the courteous and hygienic thing to do. On the other hand, and check me if I'm wrong on this, he has the legal right to grow a mustache if he so chooses. I guess that's the price we all must pay for living in a free society. I oh so wish that price wasn't so high.

Where legal, all people have the right to go to a nude beach, pool, pond, or swimmin’ hole and partake in the freedoms, painful sunburns in sensitive areas (ask Aqualung about FUBeAR’s “pink fanny”…or maybe you shouldn’t, or wouldn’t, or shouldn’t, want to), and subsequent skin cancers they can rightfully enjoy.

But, for the greater good of society, some people should thoughtfully decline to exercise this right.

If they don’t know or realize this fact, their really good friends should tell them so, for their own benefit.

Undoubtedly, as engaging, intelligent, enthusiastic, and magnanimous as he seems in his interviews, with the obvious electric talent he exhibits, with the significant contributions he provides to the on-field success of Furman Football, young Mr. Hinton must have at least 1 really good friend on the Team. Dontcha think?

Sorry, guys, that my use of the word 'any' caused GoFu to interject himself into a thread that should be positive about Colton Hinton. FuWolfpacker makes a great point—the coach's efforts to get Hinton the ball into space in recent games have worked. I dig the stash!
