We're holding them to 40.7% ... that's the good news. The bad news is we're only shooting 35.5%. It'll be a good test of our guys' mettle whether they're able to keep up the defense, be patient, and have confidence in CBR's principle: the baskets will follow good defense.
That and that their eight players have all the minutes compared with our ten. Wear 'em down 'Dins!
Big time win! This team plays together as much as any team we have had.
PJ is a fantastic player
Molnar came in played great and he is a tough hombre.
Anderson can shoot it
Liked the offense defense subs with Vanderwal and House near the end of the game
Vanderwal unselfish. Didn't score much but plays defense, rebounds, passes effectively, and makes steals
Coach CBR knows how to use his personnel
Missed Hughey tonight. He would have excelled in this type of game.
Hien played well but I liked CBR keeping him on the bench the last 3 min.
Tulane really turned up the defensive pressure in the second half but we were up to the challenge. Our depth was a big advantage again tonight.
Really good start to the year with Ws over Belmont and Tulane. This group feels much better than last years. But we are very G oriented and will go as our shooting goes. Bronson showed some flashes tonite. Getting him going as a penetrating/take it to the rim threat is important.
I'm guessing it's the net improvement or degradation in the score during a player's time on the court. They display it for each player in the real-time stats for the game. Unfortunately it doesn't show in the posted box-score.
"Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean.
'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.”
