I wasn't able to catch most of the game (camping with limited service), but it sounded like there were 18 seniors recognized.

That would be more in line with historical trends on senior day, I think.

I don't think this is asking too much. almost ANY other football program would ask these questions.

Especially number one. We do tend to throw a bunch of softballs on our show. It's like a CEO - you have to answer to the shareholders. We do at my company. And they are NOT throwing softballs - "what is your plan for X?".. "why did you not achieve Y?".. we get hammered. "detail your exact plan to achieve Y in the next quarter!".

CCH is the CEO at Furman football... must admit I am a little shocked at how much we pussyfoot around obvious issues.

All I want is that our coaches be held as accountable as other coaches. We seem to coddle our coaches more than other programs. this is a fact. I sit in on CEO meetings. We would get hammered if we gave these sorts of answers - "we are working on it"... in response I guarantee we would get "HOW EXACTLY are you working on it?". "What is your quarterly plan?".. Show us the PowerPoint with all data points

I wish we could say "we are working on it". If we said this more than one time heads would roll - and only one guy in the room makes near CCH. I don't make 1/6th what CCH makes - yet if I answered like he does I would get KILLED. It's not linear. How do I, at say 80/90K (just for fun) have no ability to answer "we are working on it" and CCH makes 400K or whatever can answer so vaguely ???

I guess we are following the Presidential race precedent. The top power players on both sides (BOTH sides) lay out their "Plans" but have no details. We laugh about that at work saying "How do these - Trump and Kamala - get away with this crap? We couldn't do that here and they are vying to be world leaders". Not arguing for either political side there - saying they both had entire portions where they never really explained their plans.

I guess I should learn that the more you make $$$ the less you have to explain. I should just go around and mumble about plans and "we are working on it" without explaining anything. THen I would make big $$$ ! lol
