Still don’t understand the ticket selling strategy. Opening one or 2 sections at a tme and then selling only a couple of rows in those sections. For example if I were buying tickets I might not want to sit in the corner but might like to sit in the upper level at halfcourt. They are just not giving people any options. It’s for charity so you would think the would want to encourage ticket sales, not discourage by not giving people an option to where they want to sit.
What you don’t see is all of the portals that we have working in the background for different groups that are purchasing tickets or claiming tickets for the game.
These are private portals that are not viewed on the web to the public. The idea is to have as full looking areas as possible with very few empty seats in the sections that we do sell.
While we will not sell out the arena, we will have a very nice footprint and crowd for this game.
We are using practices that are used by the NFL and the NBA and other major colleges.
Our marketing and ticketing team have been very deliberate and our approach is working very very well Look forward to having everybody at the game on Sunday.
