shh... I HAVE THAT FINAL GAMEBALL in my closet. Went on the field post game (talking to Littlejohn) and the ball was just laying there. I just picked it up and walked away. (Hypothetically)silentbob wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 2:06 pmDec. 15, 2001 - Statesboro, Ga.
Furman 24, Georgia Southern 17
Billy Napier 12-of-12 passing for 159 yards and a touchdown.
QB sneak on fourth-and-one at the GSU 3-yard line to set up Eric Emerson's game winning score.
Billy Napier's name shant ever be blasphemed within Furman circles evermore.

TRUE. He will be Richer than most guys who make the NFL as that’s the “Not For Long” league for your average player. Not talking Peyton Manning. The standard NFL tenure I read was 3 to 4 years. Makes sense. Most make it a year or three. A few outliers stay 15 years.Davemeister wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:03 amWhen he leaves UF Billy will have a whole lotta $$$$ and plenty of options.
