Seems like I read earlier this year that we contracted for 12 games at BSWA. 9 Home SoCon games + Tulane, Princeton, and JU. Is this correct?
Makes sense. I am still hearing that the Div. II games will be played away.

Heard these will be at NGU like the women's games.

If true then they should reduce the season ticket prices by 3 games. Really makes no sense as NGU and Anderson attendance would match most SoCon games.

I know its not a Power 5, but hosting a team from the American is still pretty cool!

Kinda dumb, arena will be empty for our game. Coulda had the FU game at 6:30 ET and Duke/Kansas at 9 in prime time.

Doubt it would have mattered much, would have been mostly empty at 3:30pm tip in Vegas as well except for the last 5 minutes or so...

Schedule comparison - Mercer has 4 non-conference home games, 7 road games, and play in the Fort Meyers Tip-Off tournament.
Their home games are D3 Lynchburg, NCCAA team Trinity Baptist, West Georgia, and Chicago State.

West Georgia is in their first year in D1. They were 27-6 in D2 last season, Chicago State is the only Mercer home opponent that was D1 last year. They won 13 games and finished ranked #295 in D1 by Ken Pomeroy.

The road schedule includes South Carolina, DePaul,South Alabama, Stetson, Winthrop, Georgia State and Queens. In Ft. Meyers they play Jacksonville and then either Miami (O) or Siena.

Anyone with insight on the final 2 games?
Most likely D2 but still hoping for another power road game.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
