I must admit that I pay a lot more attention to our men's team than our women's... after all, our men's team did have a lot more success last year (and many years before).

I do go to both men's and women's games, and both are exciting, but I consider last season to be a wash.

This year, with my limited knowledge of our women's team and the women's SOCON landscape in general, I do think we will be better. Tate Walters is back along with most of the rest of our core besides van Rij. While I don't think we'll be a SOCON contender, I am hopeful that we can finish in the top half of the standings. What say you, peanut gallery?

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
