1. Who starts at safety (likely opposite DiMarcus Clay)
Based on a quote by Clay, I'd expect true freshman Jack Rhodes to start at FS.
Hugh Ryan and Austin Jones to backup.
2. Who will handle the kicking/punting?
The specialist review just came out late afternoon. Bleekrode will punt and kick field goals, Leavy will backup
Axel Lepvreau will kickoff and possibly kick on longer field goal attempts
Bell and Anderson will return kicks, Chizik will return punts

Also at Bandit with McKoy injured another freshman has gotten a lot of practice experience - I'd add Luke Clark (6-3, 224) I'd expect him to see some PT.
Last addition - I'd expect to see Ben Page get some snaps at TE. With the possibility of Furman using two-tight end sets, I think we will see several combinations of Miller/Walker/Page.

Started fall practice, stopped, and concentrated on strength and conditioning. Furman comes into this spring practice with a matured physical team of experienced players and a highly recruited class that has had a lot of time in the program.
Can't wait to see the Dins on the field Saturday.
Exactly... WOfford HAS beaten us by pushing us around the past few years (damn twice in one year). To say otherwise would be to deny the obvious. Their DL and OL have beaten us - at least once or twice pretty badly (last year and in the playoff game I think).. It stinks. But it is truth. The other truth is that the SoCon, as a whole, hasn't done well in the playoffs recently. The key of course is putting it together on the field.
At some level, games are won in the weight room. At another level, they are won on the field.
