David Dunlavey with a 2 hit shutout. Had a no hitter until 2 outs in the 7th. The other hit was with 2 out in the ninth. Both hits were off the second baseman's glove. Rubber game tomorrow at noon.

Pitching has been OUTSTANDING. This gives any baseball team a chance to win games vs the best of teams. Offense has given just enough and has shown fight which IMHO has lacked in previous years. Frosh are contributing. Large number of injuries including 3B, 1B, DH, and of course Deon. Yet they are finding ways to win. Only area to beef up is the D. One position in particular needs to get better. Although 3B has been a pleasant surprise.

Time to take notice and support the team. Only 2 Conf series at home and another at WOF so great opportunity to cheer on the Dins!

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
