All Din Episode 24 was published just in time to for me to enjoy it while battling homebound traffic, and the next thing I'll do now is squirrel MORE time to rewatch the Loyola game - AGAIN! Dan Scott turned Coach loose to expound upon key aspects of the game - especially the final play - and Coach BR totally delivers. Especially so when he offers a slight apology "not to get too technical, but ..." and proceeds to describe the action that I think will have both the die-hard aficionados as well as enthusiastic wannabes like myself going back to watch the replays. The entire episode is riveting.

I'll even go further and say that when it comes to radio interviews, I don't think even Coach NM himself can hold a candle to Coach Richey. I'm likely the last person on this board to compare coaching capability - either in play-calling or player motivation - but I can say which I prefer to listen to pre-game and post-game and its Coach Richey hands-down. No cliche's, no evasion, no nonsense ... and what sets him apart, in my view, is his deeply thoughtful and meaningful talk at that. I hope everybody enjoys listening to his interviews as much as I do. Go Paladins!

I have not heard this episode, but I agree with your assessment. Coach Richey is extremely well read--in management and leadership, in addition to his basketball knowledge (which I am not really qualified to judge) Further, he has expertly handled several team/player personnel situations, in his short career as a head coach.
