I thought this was a good read.

It did not dawn on me until reading this that Army is 7-0 and Navy is 6-0 and both offenses are led by Furman connections. Army's OC is Cody Worley and Navy's OC is Drew Cronic.
And…Army’s AD is former Furman AD, Mike Buddie

And…Navy’s OL Coach is Jay Guillermo, who, at Clemson, played for the greatest OL Coach in the history of the whole u-nited world, FU legend, Robbie Caldwell

And (bit of a stretch here)…Navy’s Defensive Running Game Coordinator/DL Coach is Jerrick Hall, who, at NC State, played under DC, Buddy Green, who was the DC at NCSU, under FU legend, Head Coach, Dick Sheridan (RIP)

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
