FUBeAR is a Bear of very little brain...but it seems as if PaladinFury may have a little piece of this 'action' or maybe not....not really the point...but, perhaps, you can 'splain some things to FUBeAR...
Just looked at some of the gear....but it seems, to sum it up, various FU swag apparel and adding a number and name to the back of the item....right? For the sake of ease, let's just focus on jerseys...
OK - When FUBeAR sees a Furman Jersey with #15 - he thinks of 2 Players right away - David Whitehurst - Furman Legendary QB and former GB Packers Starting QB.
And FUBeAR thinks of Ingle Martin - maybe even a bigger legendary Furman QB, who also spent some time in the NFL
....all good, so far...right?
Now....I look at Furman's roster and I see a QB #15 - one Dixon Massingill. FUBeAR doesn't know Mr. Massingill or anything about him or his Football ability...FUBeAR is sure he's a fine young man and an excellent QB. He wouldn't be at this school, on this Team, or on this roster if those things weren't certainly true. But...until he looked it up this morning, FUBeAR couldn't have named the current #15 (Offense) on Furman's roster and if you asked him who Dixon Massingill was....he woulda given you a Fuji Stare (Mt. Fuji is so awe-inspiring, people just go into a blank awestruck pose for 5 minutes when they first see it - that's what FUBeAR's old boss told him).
And...if FUBeAR saw someone wearing one of these #15 FU Jerseys (from this website) at an FU Football game, he would say to himself..."Oh cool, FUBeAR can get a David Whitehurst or Ingle Martin jersey and put his own name on it, like this Massingill fella FUBeAR is seeing here in the stands musta done did."
So....FUBeAR may think - DANG...."FUBeAR would sure like to get some of that Whitehurst / Martin feeling and pay respects to them and what they did as Furman Student Athletes and beyond....and, here is some cool FU / #15 Swag I can purchase to do that. I've never had this opportunity before. Gonna shell out my Benjamin and order up."
So....(both above and below, we are assuming Mr. Massingill reaches terms, as other FU Players seem to have done)
1) Would FUBeAR only be able to order a #15 Jersey with "Massingill" (or "Rhodes") on the back?
2) Could FUBeAR order a #15 FU jersey with Whitehurst or Martin on the back?
3) Could FUBeAR order a #15 FU jersey with no name on the back?
4) Could FUBeAR order a #15 FU jersey with his own name "FUBeAR" on the back...or any other name?
....and the corrolary questions to those 4...
1a) If "YES," would Mr. Massingill and/or Rhodes get paid for FUBeAR's ordering of / interest in a #15 FU jersey because of his love for David Whitehurst or Ingle Martin?
2a) If "YES," would Mr. Whitehurst or Mr. Martin receive compensation for use of their Name on the jersey?
2b) Would Mr. Massingill also be compensated in this instance?
3a) If "YES," would any current (Mr. Massingill, for example)/former Furman Football Player receive any compensation for an order on a #15 Furman Football jersey with no name on the back?
4a) If "Yes," - same question as 3a) .... (cuz FUBeAR knows there ain't no way he gettin' paid for any of this ish).

One other thing IM or DW did not wear this style jersey.
. I don’t think the athletes have any input on the designs or products. They sign an agreement to allow Athletes Thread to use their NIL and they get a small portion of each sale in exchange. The athletes you see on the store have signed all the legal forms. The others haven’t signed yet, or are in the process of signing and will be added soon. I suppose if the alumni athletes wanted to signup, they could. There is an Athlete Signup button on the site. I don’t think their NIL can be used without the legal stuff being handled, so I doubt fans would be able to customize any name or number on this store.
