I wish him well. He will be a great addition for Anderson.

We don’t need to replace him this year. There is already a ton of depth and this transfer indicates Repass probably wasn’t going to see the floor much anyway.
It does answer the question of where next year’s scholarship, for which we’ve been recruiting, is coming.
The kid just waited until after the Bahamas trip to make it official. No fault for that.

I am fine with a player transferring but I don’t think it’s fair for him to go to the Bahamas if he did not notify the team until now. If the coaching staff knew about his spot being open and if his spot was the one offered to the kid from Ohio he should go to the Bahamas. Just confused by the timing of this.

It's possible he saw that Bowser was ahead of him and it took the Bahamas trip to confirm that......

Bowser had a lot of highlights in the Bahamas!

Still a do wrong to the team to use team funds to go on a paid vacation and then transfer.

I don’t appreciate Repass going to the Bahamas. I am fine with a player transferring but I don’t think it’s fair for him to go to the Bahamas if he is not a Furman student. He definitely know he was going to transfer before the trip.
This young man has poured his heart and soul into the program. He has worked hard for Coach Richey and the team. You have to think the transfer was a joint decision between the coaching staff, Repass and his family. You also have to think this decision was made before the Bahamas trip. Because of the culture at Furman, I am not surprised at all that Repass joined his teammates for the trip. He deserved to go, and his teammates deserved his presence. Well done Furman basketball.

If that is true that is fine it just seems like so late to announce which raises my suspicions

All good, hard to see him breaking into top 9 or 10 rotation with Hien, Hughey and Bowser already in the front court now..............

The fact that he's transferring to Anderson tells me the staff was looking after his best chance to enjoy his experience as a student-athlete, and I am 100% okay with that...That means they care about the young man and I hope he gets the most out of his career as a college hoops player...I wish him well.
