Hear me out... How about a showing of the playoff game on the screen in Timmons at 2 and the game at 5:30 right after? Gather all Paladin fans under one roof and sell concessions for an extra 3 hours.
Good idea

Our butts would be pretty sore after sitting in those Timmons seats for 6 hours!

Football will go from about 2pm-5pm Saturday

Always hard to change a date for a game for visiting team, best thing to do would be to bump the Basketball game start time to 7pm Saturday

That way, those of us in San Antonio could be at a location we can watch the game.

Let’s remember it is not entirely up to us to move the time. S. C. State has to do what is best for their players. They don’t care about the football game. I am glad they agreed to move it to noon. Football watch party afterwards. https://furmanpaladins.com/news/2022/11 ... arena.aspx

Doubt very seriously if SCS would have been that uncooperative. I’m sure they told FU they were good with whatever. I think making this a six hour marathon was not a good decision. Friday, Sunday or even 7PM would have been better to break the two games up. Of course they didn’t ask for my opinion. Will be interesting to see how many show up at Timmons at noon on Saturday, hope its a bunch. I will be there.

Moved to Noon, prolly the worst of the options.
Ask and ye shall receive.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
