Just checked. Samford still hasn't announced game times for any of their home games.
Anyone who says money can't buy happiness never had season tickets.
I wonder what their problem is. Their first game(Aug. 23rd) is less than a month away and is on espn. Maybe they are thinking espn will want to put them on national TV again during the season, lol.
Does anyone know how in the world Samford got picked for the ESPN game? It's awesome that FCS is now getting a little love from ESPN, even if it's just this one game at the beginning of the season, but it would sure be nice if they picked some of the country's best teams since more eyes than normal will be on that game.
Makes me appreciate Furman's approach.Flagman wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 6:12 pmI sent an email to the AD at Samford. His reply stated they were waiting for a couple of game times from Alabama and Auburn so they would not be going head-to-head with them, hopefully enhancing their attendance. He implied they would be announcing some game times soon.
Yep, when Clempson and SC are playing has absolutely no effect on FU attendance. I am sure it's the same in Alabama. The Jackal wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 9:58 pmMakes me appreciate Furman's approach.Flagman wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 6:12 pmI sent an email to the AD at Samford.
