Soccer is a communist sport and a sport that anyone can compete in. No athletic abitliy is needed just be in relatively good condition and be able to run or trot. It’s a sport that boys and girls can compete together. Whenever there is a goal it is 95% accidental. Very boring sport. Communism at it’s best where everyone is equal, even the minir league Greenville Triump took the major league Charlotte whatevers to OT. Great to hear that youth participation is declining rapidly(thanks furmanoid). Take soccer back overseas where it belongs.

Drop both and get ice hockey. Went to ND vs Western Michigan last night. Went to ND vs UNLV in football today. Ice Hockey was vastly superior. Virtually no time outs, no reviews. Saw #13 beat #17 in less than 2 hours. Nonstop action. Football game went for about 4 hours. Review, review, review then timeouts constantly. Torture.

UNCG & Mercer will battle it out for the Championship next Saturday 11/12 at 6 PM in Greensboro.

The ‘cloud/silver lining’ good news about this though is that it means Furman Soccer Fans are now free to attend the Furman @ Mercer Football game and, perhaps, many Mercer fans will be drawn to G’Boro to watch the Soccer Championship instead of attending the Football game in Maconga.
