Everything still in front of us. We'll have plenty of opportunities to make up for Samford. All of that begins with winning today, though. This starts the part of the schedule (Citadel, Western, VMI) where we need to take care of business.

Jackal - agree 100% w Chatt and Mercer ( Mercer playing best in conference imo) looming. These 3 are winnable' (tough but doable) -and if we take all 3 everything is there for us. Get to 6-2 and you can really say 5-1 with d2 and Clemson thrown out. Would be back around 25th rank? something like that...

Win Citadel today - this is a MUST WIN. Need to finish 8-3 to have a shot at playoffs barring something odd.

Stop the big Citadel plays. Make them drive the field. Do not let them have long runs even if we give up some 8-10 yard ones. fine.... Don't turn the ball over on O. It may literally be that simple - maybe...

We'll know more about Mercer in the coming weeks. Their second half schedule is much tougher than the first half.

I mean, that might happen. The Western/Mercer game is usually a physical fight.

Western might be better than you think.
