Good day for Ryan, 3 catches for 19 yards.
He got matched up on one of the games big plays, an interception by Jesse Bates.

Not sure exactly what Miller could have done here on an under thrown ball, but displays some pretty impressive athleticism on this play.

Ha Ha - we Paladins are way too smart for a 3-year veteran, 1st round P5 draft choice.

Just a coupla fakey choppy steps and that FU man is all by his lonesome in the enzyme.

Why is the nfl so lame? Coin flip football wins. Dumb.

Bootie, not sure if this is what you are referring to.. didn't watch a minute of the game... If this is not what you meant then I APOLOGIZE :D . If so, I absolutely used to think the same thing sir.

But it was proven mathematically that even in higher scoring games the winner of the coin-toss is NO MORE LIKELY to win the games in overtime than is the loser of the coin toss. It's counterintuitive I realize. But hey, "Freakonomics" right ! That's why that book did so well despite being an App State derivative. Side note - I love that book.

They did extensive research on this at one time. It's a "recency bias" thing that appears true but is not. Even in a 40-40 tie game the coin flip winner was no more likely to win in overtime than was the coin-flip loser.

Surprised FUBeAR - who knows A LOT more than me - wasn't aware of this... no need for a reply. Just saw the "like" :D

The NFL tries to incentivize you to win the game in regulation. Last night, the Bucs had the momentum and could have gone for a two point play on a drive the Chiefs were not remotely stopping their offense. They opted to kick and leave fate to overtime.

Virtually every team that wins the flip in the NFL will choose to take the ball first. They have to potential to end the game without the opponent possessing the ball, which is what happened last night.

In college, the decision is different. Both teams will possesses the ball and scoring is much easier given the close proximity to the goal line. The decision there is typically to go on defense first.
