Ronald Polite III from George Mason has committed to UNCG. He averaged 7.4 points per game throughout four years there. I image he'll be starter replacing one of the Langley brothers

I think someone mentioned in another thread that it was likely Nick Anderson from Barry. The way CBR described the commit, sure sounds like that’s correct.

Dins seem to be going after guys that they knew before. BTW who is the Bball coach at Barry? Butch Estes

"I was attracted to Barry right away because of their winning culture," said Anderson. "I am so grateful to Coach Estes and the rest of the staff for this opportunity and look forward to winning a lot of games in The Shores." When asked what its like to make a decision on what school to sign with during a global pandemic Anderson said, "Because of Covid-19, I was not able to get out and play or participate in the Top-60 camp locally here at home and possibly gain some more interest, but after speaking with Coach Estes, Coach (Dante) Calabria and Coach (Tito) Arias, they sold me on what Barry University has to offer." Smith added. Anderson received interest from Furman, Lipscomb and a few Division III schools locally.

Prior to his commitment, Anderson had offers from Bethel, Tiffin, and a host of D3 programs. Prior to Barry entering the picture, Bethel was recruiting Anderson the hardest. He had D1 interest from programs like Furman. If the pandemic didn't happen, Furman likely would have offered Anderson. In the view of Indiana Basketball Source, Anderson would have been a difference maker at the D1 level behind his shooting ability and feel for the game.

1 year left, he will be a senior using his Covid 5th and final year of college basketball

Western Carolina got a transfer, 6'3" Cord Stansberry, from Pepperdine. Talk about a culture shock. Pepperdine Univ. is located on the hills overlooking Malibu Beach in the Los Angeles area. Within walking distance, actually. Malibu to Cullowhee. Have fun.

Chattanooga's 6'9" soph. Sam Alexis is transferring to Florida. He averaged 11 ppg and 9 rebs. this season. He is from Florida so this transfer makes sense for him. Makes it tougher for SoCon teams to hang onto their players if 11 ppg is SEC worthy. Florida has 3 soph. or freshman players on the roster between 6'9" and 7'1" with similar stats as Alexis who aren't going to step aside. They did just lose a 6'10" soph. who did not play much, which may open a spot on the bench for Alexis.

UNCG's 6'8" transfer Mikael Brown-Jones committed to Mississippi.
