Why couldn't they get rid of the ice for one weekend? Its the NCAA tournament for gosh sakes.
Just realized the womens tournament regional sites will be reduced to 2 sites next year with 8 teams each with 2 advancing to the final four. The 2 sites are Seattle and Greenville. Another huge plus for the city!

When I renewed my football tickets last week, it seems like those are both printable & phone-able. I opted not to do anything yet because the kickoff times are not finalized.

Do we shoot as well at the Well as we do at Timmons? I only ask because generally people shoot worse in bigger arenas. If we shoot better at Berea HS, I’m ok with playing there.

We didn't shoot better at Timmons vs. UT-C.
We need to borrow those big heating fans from the football program for our games at Timmons. Put them behind the bench to keep our players warm.

Yes we do but like everywhere it varies even from half to half.
Largeest arenas:
Louisville shot 43% from 3 for the game.
UNC shot 54% in the first half and 53% from 3.
Mercer at the Well shot 50% from 3 in the first half.
Wofford at the Well shot 54% and 46% from 3 the second half.
So no the arena size has little to do with shooting percentage. Some of our worst shooting nights came at Timmons.

We have played 6 total games at 'The Well' in 2 of the past 3 seasons (skipping the Covid season)

3,740 12/14/19 Winthrop
4,646 1/11/20 UNCG
6,096 2/22/20 Wofford

3,217 1/8/22 Mercer
3,616 2/5/22 UNCG
5,332 2/19/22 Wofford

So in 6 games we have averaged 4,441 attendance downtown at Bon Secours Wellness Arena

So Stephen F Austin at 'The Well' on Dec. 17th

The good part of that is we are at least hosting a really good mid major program, the bad part is it takes place after FU students get out of school for holiday

We can bank on the Wofford home game being downtown, and I guess maybe 1 other Saturday SoCon home game downtown as well

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
