This one won't show up on the scoresheet, but Miller throws the block to spring the big gain.

Probably good for him that TB is lining him up at WR and then basically using him as a lead blocker inside like a fullback. Versatility is a good thing.

Miller makes that block and jolts his man back 3 or so yards before he regains his footing. That's some power.

It was an effective block.

Like to see him run his feet thru contact and not narrow up his base so much which would enable him to stay locked up with the Defender …but y’know FUBeAR’s just hard like that. It’s RobbieC’s fault!

ADDENDUM: Just checked the Bengals roster. The guy Miller smacked is an MVFC Alum, so seeing an FU / SoCon Player smack & knock one of those types backwards onto his heels is more gratifying than a perfect technique block. Good job #81!!

Hey - did y’all know the Bucs have former bellhop Raleigh Webb - TE/WR #22 when he wore the baby blue - fast white kid from Allatoona HS here in the ATL area - on the roster. Listed on their depth chart as a 3rd Team WR - same as Miller.

Would be a cool FCS / SoCon story if both of those College Rivals could be Teammates in the NFL - similar types of Players. Lotta speed, lotta want-to, excellent hands, etc.

That Dolphin that our guy is leavin’ for that TD is Storm Duck from Boiling Springs (SC) HS.

See … if he hadda come to Furman instead of North Carolina & Louisville, he mighta known better what he had to do to in order to cover elite talent.

Young bucks need to start using they brains and stay home in the Upstate - wearin’ the <F > - instead of becoming Smoked Duck.

Or another team can sign him if cut and clears waivers.

I remain positive. Based on his playing time, I think he will make the roster.

Almost assuredly would be back on practice squad.
225K for a practice squad is nice money... guys at year one or two get roughly 225K from what I have seen. If you can stick to years 3 and beyond just practice squad guys make over 300K. Save well and that's a start better than pretty much any other profession.. Evn them Surgeons have to defer the 250-300K+ until 8 years later and incur a lot of debt

Ryan Miller was cut today as TB is going with only 5 WRs on the roster (1 on IR). Miller mentioned as 1 of 2 WRs likely to be signed to practice squad. 1 of the 2 might be elevated to roster while Rakim Jarrett is on IR from what I saw.
