The comments I've seen from Samford fans is that they can defend against teams that are one dimensional and struggle badly against teams with balanced offenses.

We didn't throw the ball all that much but we certainly showed the ability to burn teams with the air game when we need to.

I think that is a fair assessment. I might flip VMI and Chatt but that is about all. Wofford seems to be getting better - at least off their game against ETSU. I didn't think the ETSU defense was all that good. We simply did not have a good offensive day last week.

Samford had a hard time defending a team with bigger, faster, stronger players that smacked them in the mouth.

Had nothing to do with being a multi-dimensional offense.

3. UTC - win v ETSU validates them some
4. VMI - no D but points are there w passing and running now

6. Citadel - beat GT, some injuries but gettin' healthy - I AM SCARED !!!!!!

7. ETSU - 0/4 but have played the top 4 teams. I suspect they win 2 or so here in the end.

8. Mercer BL needs to figure something out
