The forum is called "Basketball." The thread is called "2025 Transfer Recruiting." There is no mention of "Men's" or "Women's" in the title of either of them. At least not that I can find. If you want to be sexist about it then that's on you.

To be fair, it WAS about the Chatt MEN's Team - but that shoulda been in Other Sports>NCAA Basketball instead of Furman Sports>Basketball [gender neutral implied]

To be fair, it WAS about the Chatt MEN's Team - but that shoulda been in Other Sports>NCAA Basketball instead of Furman Sports>Basketball [gender neutral implied]

The connection was that FU was the last team to beat UTC but ok maybe it should not have been here but it was time sensitive so thought it was ok. My bad.

That IS a bit different from…

apaladin suggested posting about Furman Women’s sports in a different location here. apaladin is, seemingly, interpreting, correctly or not, that “Furman Sports>Basketball” means “Furman Sports>Men’s Basketball.

Roundball’s mischaracterization/misquote of apaladin’s post, seems to imply that apaladin had called for a complete ban on any posts about [Furman] “female sports” anywhere, at all. That is clearly not what apaladin stated.

I wonder if we are interested in Cade Tyson - 6'7" junior forward from the Charlotte area. He was at UNC this year after transferring in from Belmont, where he played two years. Tyson only averaged about 2 ppg after scoring about 14 and 16 ppg with the Bruins. He is the younger brother of Hunter Tyson who was a star at Clemson and was a 2nd round draftee by the NBA. Cade was a great shooter at Belmont. Hit 42% and 46% from three point range and over 85% from the FT line his first two years. Tyson just entered the portal yesterday

Cade would be great for us. Probably seeking more money though …. after getting UNC 600k or so last year (some amount like that

Have a new rule on UFFP requiring posters to always explain upfront the reason each specific post is placed in the section they are posting it, even when it should be evident that there is at least some connection to the topic and section?
