Surprised I am first with this.. probably posted earlier.. if so, sorry.

Move it if needed.

Clemson Forward Asa Thomas (3 star HS kid) is coming to Furman

Barely played at all at Clemson but Clemson was GOOD this year. Very few SoCon contributors would play there this year. (they fell at end when Dillon Hunter broke his arm) -- otherwise Clemson was the #1 ranked team efficiency for a few weeks !

only saw the floor in 12 games for about 2 minutes a game. But could be good for us. Who knows? the Wake kid never produced much if I recall but sometimes a reset is a great thing for a kid

Hope he helps us - 6'7" 200 lb forward

Well, Jalen Slawson and Clay Mounce are a couple of 6'7" forwards who didn't contribute much their first seasons. But they kept improving and became good enough to be all-conference stars and eventually play pro ball. Richey is a coach who takes pride in player development. I don't think that is as important at the P4 level these days. They can just jump into the transfer market and skip the slow development phase.
