I didn’t know much about the new postseason tournament until I looked into it. Is the being in the new College Basketball Crown going to be better than being in the NIT? It seems as though the NIT is going to have to make changes or it is going to die.

When WVU won the NIT in 1942, WVU was yet not in the Southern Conference. WVU joined the Southern Conference 8 years later, 1950.
(By the way, WVU has now hired the University of North Texas head coach - whose team ended Furman’s season a few days ago.)

To be fair, FUBeAR knows the gangly CanuckMoc missed a 3 to win it when they inbounded with 1.5 seconds left in regulation. Wasn’t he also the Moc who missed a “bunny layup” to win it when they previously inbounded with about 8 seconds to play in regulation?

So, the Anteater would have never had a chance to miss the bunny if the Canadian Mockingbird had hit his bunny. Right?

Apparently, you are unfamiliar with FUBeAR’s work for CBS Sports from 1983-1987ish - SoCon/ACC/SEC Football & Basketball, NCAA Tournament (up to Regional Finals - never made it the Final Four…Billy didn’t love FUBeAR enough to take FUBeAR to the BIG, Big Dance with him), NFL (Madden & Summerall were great guys!), NBA (Danny Ainge is not a FUBeAR fan, BTW), even did the Tour de France…kinda. Got bumped from The Masters broadcast though. The hoity-toity’s in Augusta seemed to have found something in FUBeAR’s history they found unseemly - it’s complicated…but standards are standards. It was NOT night-putting with the Dean’s daughter…but not entirely unrelated to such an indiscretion.

And, while TO was quite the multi-sport athlete, FUBeAR bets TO wouldn’t have won the FU Intramural Shot Put competition for the Alpha Nu’s, in bare feet, with only 1 throw…after somewhere between 8-17 beers.
