Saw a short twitter video maybe from last Saturday because it was daytime. Last play showed In that small sample it looked like Grainger was the man at QB. Unfortunately the last play showed him throwing an int.

Curious now that they have a few practices under their belt has anybody heard any info
They’ve seen some good things. Some kids are stepping up. Some of the kids they Redshirted last year are looking like they can contribute. They still have a lot of improvement to make, but the effort is good, even with the cold weather. If they continue to work hard, we think we have a chance to have a pretty good football Team.

8-)

I have certainly not seen one of our 6 AM practices and have no intention of doing so. I have spoken to several of our key defensive players this week and they assure me that FU will put the GOAT defenses on the field this year. D coach has them wound up early, obviously. Got to like the attitude. They even gave a reluctant shoutout to our RB's performance in practice. Practice tomorrow should be in mid morning. BTW, the kids don't seem to care a whit about the cold and darkness of 6AM.

Jordan Willis has been working hard in the weight room and looks bigger and stronger already. Spends a lot of time with tapes going over his reads. He tell me that SPUR is a complex position in our defensive scheme that requires lots of study time. FU is a tough place to be a student athlete. It takes a special kid. Look for a big season from Jordan. Adrian Hope is looking forward to playing every down this season and also appears bigger already. Great kid. What a nose for the football. Grainger appears to be much more comfortable and relaxed for this coming season. I guess facing the Clemson defense in his first collegiate game at QB will do that for you. It's all downhill from there, right? He appears to be popular with kids on both sides of the ball.

Hope to get to practice tomorrow .

I remember sitting in the stands during a Montana State game in Bozeman. Now that was cold.
I forget the exact temperature, but that semifinal in Boone in 2005 wasn't exactly balmy.
I remember the end zone was frozen...
