Hard to figure out KP. Furman beat all 6 of the above, has a much better record(PU is close) and all of the above are ranked higher than FU. Also beat Samford but they have the same record but why are they 60+ spots higher?

The rankings don’t matter!
We are not a very good team , as proven by our 5-5 record in the conference.
Samford is ranked 60 spots ahead of us because they are a lot better team than we are !!

In the NET only 2 of those teams are ranked ahead of FU, Belmot by 3 spots and Princeton by 14. Samford is 40 spots higher not 60+ so for me the NET is far more accurate than KP. Unfortunately you are correct we played ourselves into a position where any rankings are pretty irrelevant now.

I thought it had been said before but here it is again - Pomeroy's ratings are based on and affected by the margins more than some other systems. Some systems provide more of a positive or negative bump to the teams that win or lose. A 1 point win and a 1 point loss have almost no effect in KenPom.

The Paladins have won a lot of close games this year and a number of losses have been by double digits. Our D1 wins have been by average of 8 points and even that is skewed by the 29 point margin against Western Carolina and the 21 point victory at Charleston Southern.. Our SoCon wins (other than WCU) have been by 5,4,3, and 2. Losses have been by 19,17,9,4, and 3.

Agree it is a bad system, heavily skewed to the big boys. CU loses at home to a team ranked 100 spots below them and dropped 2 spots. FU loses on the road to a team ranked 100 spots below them and dropped 40 spots.
