Not to steal your thunder, Hoopla, in starting this thread early, but it looks like weather may affect Saturday’s game. I’m starting to worry about the impact on attendance, or even if this game happens as scheduled, with our biggest rival coming to town. If anyone up that way hears anything as the week goes on, it would be nice to hear updates.

Hoping the weather is great and the crowd is HUGE! :D

Most of the weather models are in agreement now for snow on Friday night and early Saturday morning. It makes me think both teams might need to stay downtown on Friday night in order to play the noon game, in front of a sparse crowd. If the forecasts hold, and that is huge if, the game might be postponed.

Swamp Rabbits games are scheduled in BSWA for both Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. I'm sure this complicates the decision-making process as well and makes a postponement to later in the weekend unlikely.

How many times have weather guys been wrong when trying to predict snow that is multiple days away? lol

The Answer: ALOT!

For me Thursday night / Friday morning will be the first time I put any stock into what they say about this weekends upcoming weather...........

If worse comes to worse, move it to the PAC and pack it out with students. At least they won’t be playing in an empty arena.
Not equiped for a game and the students are not back, some may be and probably woukdn’t show anyway. This weather event is not going to last long, now downgraded to a couple of inches.

We are 2-0 against the 2 worst teams in the league, barely. Got blownout by one of the better ones. This game Saturday may tell us more. Hopefully will get a boost from being back at the Well.

Wofford struggled at Western tonite. Game much closer than the final score.

It was at Wofford. You are correct, WCU had the lead with under 4 to go.
