New one I think is a PWO from Coleman Christensen, 5-11 200 LB, from Lovejoy , TX.
A footnote on the recruiting season is that we appear to now be recruiting Texas pretty significantly.

There are a lot of Furman students from Texas (or at least there were when I was there), but rarely a football player.
Coach Hendrix had TX as part of his Recruiting Area when he was at AF, because TX HS Football’s below-the-waist (at that time...not sure now) Blocking Rules were the same as the NCAA rules, one of or, maybe, the only State to have that...and he was the OL Coach at AF, so it made sense. They signed A LOT of OLmen from TX. I’m sure he built strong HS relationships there leading to the opening of bit of a pipeline of talent there that was previously untapped.
Not Texas… but it appears we're recruiting Lousiana also. 2020 prospect Daniel Hawthorne is following and liking the coaches tweets and Hendrix and Lusk are following his Twitter profile. https://twitter.com/DHawthorne01

Looks like Mason took Wofford's offer.
Mason?

Perry?
James?
Rudolph?

I searched this thread to find out who you were talking about and this is the only mention of "Mason."

Maybe you just misspelled MaNson - as in Charles; pretty sure he would fit in over there....him or Marilyn.

Michael Mason, 6-3 235 OLB/DE, from Florence
THANKS! Bit of different body type from typical AnkleBiters. Wonder what position they see him playing.

I think the Spartans will beef him up and put his put his hand on the ground. Looks quick at DE, very athletic. Remains to be seen.

Coach Lusk has tweeted two commitments to the defense in two days. Anyone figured this one out yet?

Nope. I think we have offers out to Josh Agbenou and Daiveon Carrington, who are both likely defense guys.

First two I checked, no indication on twitter. Either would be big. Also keeping my fingers crossed that Josh Slay might reconsider.

My initial thought was maybe Carrington, who is from Raleigh, which is, I think, in Lusk's primary recruiting area.

If Furman ends up with one of those two linebackers - Agbenou or Slay - I'd say we'd have won the day.

I'm not sure what's going on with Slay — he just posted his 31st offer. Nova - Chatty - Lehigh has offered lately.
My opinion Joshua Agbenou is the guy we need. Big, fast, physical ILB 6-2 229, Agbenou would be the last piece to an outstanding defensive class.

Where does Furman standing with the February signing period? I think the coaches are possibly finished except for a late pickup of another WR. Kimmelman is an athletic big body receiver (6-2 180) I would like to see Furman add another WR/Slot/Wing player.

Late Signing:
Cally Chizik, DB
Kam Brinson, DB
Jake Kimmelman, WR
Wayne Anderson, RB
Dan Dodd, OL
Mystery Man, Defense

I am sure the coaching staff wants to add a big ILB. They've gone after a few guys that haven't panned out to this point.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
