I think at the core, Furman wants to build through development of high school players. At the same time, the fundamentals of the sport are changing.
There is NO WAY that the coaches on this team is as tough or as disciplined as the ones we had. The entire spectrum of how to coach has changed so dramatically, the coaches are not allowed to coach like that in today's world. So, you can get an agent, but only for NIL (I'm still not entirely sure what that is). The agent cannot be for a professional contract, however.Student-athletes may secure representation (e.g., agent or lawyer) ONLY for name, image and likeness and NOT for future professional athletic contract negotiations. Student-athletes cannot enter into any such written or oral agreements for name, image and likeness before July 1, 2021.
