This will be the first home game with students back on campus since UNCW home game where we had approximately 600 students at the game, hopefully they are still eager to come out and support the team, and hopefully Furman U is making sure they do their part to continue to get the word out to the student body about coming to hoops games
Yes I was thinking about this. Will be interesting to see how the students turn out considering our 3-3 record since they last saw the tram play.

Looks like plenty of good seats for the Thursday night game.
Indeed
If we can pull out the win Thursday night hopefully that will generate the momentum needed to have a full house on Saturday against Samford

Maybe a hundred or so left for Saturday. They have not opened the end zone seating however. Need a big walkup Saturday to be a sellout.

The reason they don't have the endzones open is because they are saving those seats for students as they don't want to turn any away again, probably first come first serve on gameday though

Jay Bilas top 68 teams:
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basket ... uary-nears

Sorry Bilas, but FU is better than some of these teams, and we stand a great chance to beat Wofford and ETSU at home

Interesting that he has Villanova #17 (FU's best win) and 3 of our losses were on the road to 3 teams he lists (LSU, Wofford, ETSU), plus UNCG is probably very close to his list as well
I am guessing given all that we are probably close to being on his list as well, which makes the SoCon pretty damn good

Beat Nooga!

And Samford chokes not once but twice as they stumble and fumble around and blow it again in overtime, Woff wins by 1 at buzzer

This conference will be decided in the tournament where anybody can win. Furman just needs a good second half to their season in order to get the bye. I think its anybody’s championship come March.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
