Stephen Croone getting elected into the Furman Athletics Hall of Fame this weekend!

His election to the FU HoF was announced in early May.

Not being an anal prick…just clarifying because FUBeAR thought, from this post, a new class had been elected.

FUBeAR has nominated one of his FU Football Teammates for LONG OVERDUE HoF recognition, so is on hopeful pins & needles every time he sees anything come up about the FU HoF.

And…if you happen to be reading this and are an FU HoF voter… Furman Kicker* from 1979-1982, Tim Tanguay, NEEDS to be in our Hall of Fame. Let’s do the right thing and make that a reality.

*FUBeAR hates Kickers, so you know this one deserves it if FUBeAR nominated him.

So proud of him - and Ferrara, Wideman, & Acox as well. None of them was recruited by Niko. Any of them could've adopted an attitude - and who would've blamed them? For a group of twenty-year-olds, buying-in to a change of that magnitude took a lot of maturity. Their collective bearing provided the launching-pad for Sibley, Fowler, JDIII, Beans, Rafferty & the gang to follow.
