NOT NEGATIVE. Just a legitimate question for fans of a team -

I will say 4 maybe 5.

If we can't get some better running it's going to be very rough sledding for youthful QBs.. and like Saturday a good D still needs 25 points from the O. Also, CSU would be a poor SoCon team in my worthless opinion but they lost to Citadel who lost to SC State... IE, I expect Citadel to finish with only 1 or 2 SoCon wins. And they, like us for now, were equal with CSU

But hey, I am dumb... LOL - what do you better analysts think?

I revised my preseason prediction to 3-9 but 4-5 is possible with a boatload of improvement. I think
.500 in the SoCon is best case scenario.

9-2. The reason is I don't think there's going to be enough evidence to disqualify Ol' Miss from the unfortunate mishap on Aug 31, and I think we're going to let that little error on Sep 7 slide for the sake of gentlemanly sportsmanship.

5-4. This is the scenario if we fail to close the evil portal. I don't know how bad this evil portal is yet, and what its spewing, so the W/L record could even be worse.

I would say what my son said. We outgained them in large part because they had 20 yard fields after we turned it over

That said, I get your point - completely ... HOWVEVER, and this is the key. CSU would be a bottom SoCon team. If that were Samford or Western or whomever and we lost by 4 afater negative 4 turnovers (that's HUGE) I would feel a lot better. But that was basically Citadel or SC State from what I can tell. Not negative - I am giving our conference credit !! I think CSU would perenially lose many games in the SoCon
