Sorry if I missed it somewhere, but...
What FBS game do we play in 2027?

It has not been announced. A good guess would be SC again. They play WC this year and again in 2028. So FU in 2023 and again 2027 would be the same. Then you have to ask if the 2028 game against WC is already known why isn’t the FU game in 2027 known?

From Furman's perspective, it definitely would be time for SC to be scheduling FU again before SC schedules WC again, whether that would be for 2027 or 2029 or any year after 2029.
I realize, of course, that SC does not make their OOC schedules from FU's perspective.
I will note, however, that SC may seem to show preference to scheduling WC over scheduling FU.
From 1996, when WC moved to D1-AA and FCS, through 2009, SC played WC 3 times and played FU zero times. (Actually, it [the 3 times WC and 0 times FU] was 1982 until 2010 that SC did not play FU - 29 years!)
And from 1996 through 2028, it will have been SC playing WC 7 times and FU 3 times.
(For 2009 through 2028, it will have been SC playing WC 4 times and FU 3 times.)
I will note also that WC apparently never beaten SC in football.
(And I have not looked at schedules, etc., for Men's Basketball, but SC may seem to show preference also to scheduling WC over scheduling FU in that sport. To me, it would seem appropriate to see SC on FU's home Basketball schedule, playing in the renovated Timmons Arena in the first season of playing our home games there - along with several multiple other "big names", for example, Clemson.)

Samford end zone facility.

Pretty sure it’s more of a PAC (mostly for NARP’s) than a Football “end zone facility.”

Didn’t really know where to put this and didn’t want to start a new thread. So, went with the most recent thread Dan started…

As a former “Go-Fer” for CBS Sports (NCAAF, NCAA Men’s Basketball, NFL, and NBA), FUBeAR found this REALLY interesting.

THANKS DAN!!!

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
