To be fair, this thread has previously explored broad swaths of the geopolitical landscape with a focus on Scandinavia, all of the territory of the former USSR, and Myrtle Beach…of course.

FUBeAR is certain that even though Furmanite Finnish President Stubb is considered “right-wing” by many in the global community, he would rebuke that Ole Miss student from Texas without hesitancy, as does FUBeAR. And the Mayor of Myrtle Beach would join in the rebuke, possibly. Possums, on the other hand, by and large, tend to be rather ambivalent about such matters, in FUBeAR’s experience.

I completely agree with Furmanoid and FU3 one hundred percent. And I while agree with what they say, I will never fight for their right to say it. Voltaire aside, one of my many advantages is I believe just about everything I hear and read, which I think makes me a more selective person than someone who doesn't believe anything.

Seemingly contradictorily, but nonetheless true, is whatever position one has on any political or social issue, I'm against it. It really clarifies one's worldview.

So I read the tiff between Furmanoid and FU3, and it just boggles my mind. One guy makes a current political opinion observation and another guy objects but goes on to interject something about racism and away we go. Just goes to show ya never know how another person will read the wild meanderings of this, the greatest thread in the history of sports boards, the FAMNN thread.

There's a Northern Michigan Wildcat T shirt in my closet. They play in a dome. Ate at a good pastie place right across the road. The school marks off parking spaces with flag poles in winter so that after the cars are buried snow plow drivers can avoid them more easily. Ore Dock Brewing Co. is good.

I love Marquette. But the Big Ish statue over in Ishpeming was recently vandalized, so I guess even the Indians are bad guys now. Probably the damn Finns up to no good again. At Ole Miss we never had much of a meth problem in the possum community. The raccoons are the problem. A friend from Thibodaux had us over to boil crawdads one time. The first step is to purge them in salt water. While his buddies were hurling, one guy bailed out of the pot and made a break for it. He slowly crossed the yard and was about 2 feet from a storm drain and freedom! Then out of nowhere in broad daylight a crazed raccoon swooped in and kidnapped him. Forty years later I feel bad for that crawdad.

Damn those racoons. Let me tell you people something, the Procyonid is an ill-humored and selfish little vandal. Oh, they look cute, but they will get in your garbage, molest your lawn furniture, and eat your crawdads.

Now that we have a Finnish invasion on Oxford from the North, we still have to get a vomit eating Myrtle Beach possum to The Grove. I can bring a Texas vomit-eater, but I don't think it will be the same.

And I bet the swan was a real a-hole about it too. I never give swans drugs. They do that hissy fit thing where they spread their wings and gack at you with their little tongues and freaky long necks. No gratitude.

A swan feather pillow is so much better than a real swan. Its soft and comfy, and without that dangerous beak.

I've always thought a good O-line tactic for pass protection would be the Furman Swan defense. The O lineman start hissing, then stand up when the ball snaps and gloriously display their wingspans while hopping around acting all pissed off and pecking away at the D-line with their face-guards. I think this tactic would really throw those Mississippi boys off their game.
