I guess we will have to adjust the term Power ? next yeae. Never considered the Big East a power conference since they are a bunch of non-football playing schools. You can’t be a Power conference without FB. If they are a power conference why isn’t the Mountain West? The MWC has football schools and got 5 teams in vs. 3 for the Big East. Since the Pac-12 no longer exists next year for me it will be the Power 4. Just sayin’
This is a thread about college basketball isn’t it? If you don’t think the conference that contains UConn, Villanova, St. John’s, Creighton, Xavier, Seton Hall, Marquette and Georgetown is a power conference, you just simply don’t know basketball. It’s a power conference league.

Good OOC Schedule considering scheduling nowadays for FU has become more difficult

Kudos to the AD nd his Staff
The conferences arranged two of those and the others have been on the books for 2-4 years.

I had to look it up. Was I the only person who did not know what MTE's are? Not Middle Tennessee Electric.
From an 11/20/2021 article.
"The acronym MTE is just as synonymous with college basketball as NCAA.

Multi-team events, or MTEs, have become a cottage industry for locations with an abundance of sunshine, sprouting up across the country, and beyond United States borders ...."

We're facing Seattle University, not St. John's...

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
