I really enjoyed watching the game today. The defense was great in the second half and if we could have hit a few more shots we could have won that game by 25 points.

Willams is back, Woffy is heading back to Sparkle City with their tail between their legs, and all is right with the world.

Way to step up PJay….and Marcus got his groove back after a lackadaisical showing in BHam.

Seems like Bob has found his core 5…..JP, PJay, Foster, Hein and Vanderwal.

Hughey next with 15 min, then Whitt and AW with 11 and Cooper Bowser with 8.

We really only have 4 scorers or shooters: Pegues, Foster, Williams, & PJay. Others play a supporting role.

Hien never shoots 3’s anymore from corner or top of key.

Vanderwal rarely shoots a 3 from top of key and is very tentative on corner 3’s anymore.

Whitt hit several 3’s in one game but is certainly not a shooter at this point.

Hughey is capable but it is a night by night hit or miss, usually the latter.

Having said the above everyone can contribute in his own way and be a difference maker . Vanderwal is very good around the basket and is Mr Hustle. Hien it depends on the night related to everything.

But it sure makes it hard on our 4 scorers if 1 or 2 are not shooting well and when only 2 or 3 of them are even in the game.

It was good to have AW back and thought he played hard. If WC can keep their team together they will be hard to handle in the future. They have improved since the start of the season and do not have a senior on their roster.

Did you see the video where Bob took donuts and the white "Whofford?" T-shirts, and went to a dining hall and introduced himself to the students? He then invited them to the game and told them they were needed at the game. If they said they were coming to the game, they got a shirt and a donut. He also told them to come early, like at 1:30. It was very cool!
