We have 9 guys now who are in the rotation (Molnar is not one of the 9). Bowser plays but largely doesn’t shoot. When you have 3 guys out there who are afraid to shoot it hurts the other two who can shoot.

No reason Hughey & VanderWal can’t get it together before tournament time. Hien has much more work to do. He seems to mentally be his own worst enemy. Only 8 more games to regain his confidence and form. That would be a huge boost for us.

Missed free throws is a huge problem for this team.
I agree with games before Saturday. Yes, the missed one at the end hurt, but 23-27 is great for a full game.
Made 21 in a row.

Shooting, including free throw shooting often dips late in the game when fatigue comes in. Even truer in a tournament when players have little rest and recovery time.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
