Wish we could have gotten a chance for the 2 point conversion. I am afraid we won’t see a better FU defense for a long time.

On the bright side our offense can't get any worse going forward than it was today lol
28 points on the road against a team surrendering half that?

Remember, Furman's offense outscored Montana's.

If we are being accuarate, this quaterfinal was lost because we could not beat a 1-9 wofford team to end the year, otherwise this weekend is a home game that we more than likely win

Is this Huffs last yr? Hope Jones makes some progress in offseason.

Huff threw 16-47

Our running backs combined for like 25 yards

Don't get defensive about our offense tonight, it stunk

I think the Montana D might have had a little to do w that. They were very very good on D. I was impressed.

Exactly, they owned us

I mean we did over throw a good many open guys downfield, but we have struggled with that all year

I was hoping they would go for 2, but what a cluster f play. Rather see a more conventional play.

Running a sweep on the 1st play of OT was pretty stupid when it hadn’t worked all game. Put us in a hole we couldn’t get out. Roberto out really hurt us. If he’s in at full strength, we win. Huff was also a little off I think due to shoulder. Team played with a lot guts, especially the D. Love the D intensity. They put a whopping on their run game. Disappointed as hell, but proud to be a Din tonight!

Well what a game. Regardless of who you were rooting for that was a hell of a game. Your boys played tough and fought hard until the end. This Montana Griz fan appreciates you all.

Didn’t know at the time but after their punt return, giving up the 2 point conversion cost us a chance to win in regulation.

Thought the same thing on the sweep. There were literally no downhill running plays other than at gl with Roberto. Their DE knew when we were going to pass or run every play. Was watching him and every pass play he came in full steam. We need to do a better job not giving away our plays before we snap the ball.

Incredible effort from Furman. Wish Huff had run the ball more when he stepped up in the pocket but I guess they were probably looking for that. Their defense was great but so was ours. Thought our defense outplayed their offense. They only scored 1 offensive touchdown in regulation. Ours scored 4. Bottom line was we just couldn't run the ball effectively and if we could it would have helped the passing game. Congratulations to Montana, they won that game with great special teams play and executed the pass play that won the game in OT.

Got to believe if that game had been in Paladin Stadium the outcome would have been a Paladin win.

Well no, FU Hoopla, our offense did not stink tonight. What you saw was a really good Montana defense. Oh, I love to post a lot of nonsense, but I actually know a thing or two about football (at least I used to), and I can't let an egregious comment like yours slide. If you're making the point that the Paladin offense isn't the best offense the Paladins have put on the field, then I would agree. Yet I'm pretty darn certain the Paladin offense did not "stunk". What I saw was an offense that put 28 points on the board against a really good Montana team that effectively shut down our vaunted running game. The offense did their job. The defense did their job. We got burned on special teams.
