This young man has been a central part of getting the program where it is this season. Very happy to see him getting recognized by the conference! I think he has a very good chance of being SoCon player of the year but I don’t want to get ahead of myself
I don't think we can overstate Matt's contribution to the success of the program, both on the court and in the locker room.
IMO, he's one of the all-time best kids to come through FU. Maybe not one of the most gifted athletes, but certainly one of the most effective players ever. He's contributed from Day One as a freshman.
As an alum, Matt is the kind of kid that you're proud to have representing your school. Glad to see good things happening for him.
