And NET is being used instead of RPI as I understand it. Read an article on this new NET; the main gist is that every ranking system has its own strengths and weaknesses. It’s just one tool
The NCAA's computer metric is irrelevant to mid-majors - they excluded mid-majors despite being very high in RPI and would do the same with NET. It might settle a few arguments over middling power conference teams.

Wofford loses by 11
They are now 9-4 overall and 1-0 in SoCon, so they finished up going 8-4 OOC but did not beat any good teams
They played 4 good teams OOC and lost to them all by double digits (11, 11, 25, 11)
The SoCon's best OOC win still stands as Furman winning @ Villanova

At the time we played both "Nova and Loyola, they were ranked. Earlier in the year LSU was also ranked, but not anymore. They aren't even receiving votes.
