FURMAN ADDS SOUTH CAROLINA STATE, RICHMOND TO FUTURE FOOTBALL SCHEDULES https://furmanpaladins.com/news/2023/9/ ... dules.aspx
Looks like Georgia needs a game on 9/11/27. We open that day?
Yes those schedules are complete, 12 games.
Good question.
I like those 2 additions.Roundball wrote: βThu Sep 28, 2023 3:19 pmFURMAN ADDS SOUTH CAROLINA STATE, RICHMOND TO FUTURE FOOTBALL SCHEDULES https://furmanpaladins.com/news/2023/9/ ... dules.aspx

Who we play that is not shown here https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/furman/ ????
Remember something about this but I forgot already lol..............
The 12 game seasons happen every 5 years. The last one was 2019, the next one after 2025 will be 2030. FBS teams continue to schedule FCS teams well into the future. Just recently Ohio St., Clempson, Maryland, Kansas and West Virginia announced games for 2027 to 2030. No reason for FU not to schedule future FBS games.paladinfan12 wrote: βTue Oct 10, 2023 11:14 amLooks like apaladin's email to FBS schedules was heard.

Overall, the next 3 years look about as good a non-conference schedule one could ask for. No D2 games, 2 pioneer teams, all FBS games against big schools, and all away games are drivable.
Going forward:
- I realize we are still looking for those elusive FBS games in 2027 and 2028, but it looks like that is right now out of our control.
- Are 2024 and 2025 the only seasons with 13 weekends between Labor Day and Thanksgiving for a 12 game schedule? I am not too familiar with the rules in that area.
