NO GAMES AT THE WELL THIS SEASON ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE. THAT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING! After having games there for several years. I really enjoy games downtown.

We knew this a couple of weeks ago. Jason Donnelly explained why in one of the podcasts.

Did he?

I don't remember there being a reason why we would not play Wofford there!?!

Game times have not been announced, so still possible locations are not finalized and we could still have a couple games downtown (ie. Wofftard)

I hope we still have a positive relationship with Bon Secqors. When the construction in Timmons happens (which always happens to take longer than expected) we will need somewhere to play!

I’m not disappointed. I prefer games in our intimate little Timmons.

Nothing was ever mentioned about no games there this year, at least not publicly on a podcast....
Roundball did not respond, so maybe he misspoke......

Sorry. I’ve been away from my phone. I thought I remembered him talking conflicts with our schedule and what was available at Bon Secours as the reason no games would be played there. That was the last podcast, I think.

I stand corrected. He was talking about the Greenville Invitational not happening this year.

It's fine I guess no games at 'The Well', just a bit disappointing, we had 6,000+ against Wofftard last year.....................

If we don't play at the Well this year, it will be a step backward from our stated goal of increasing our presence in the Greenville community.

I agree, we should at the least be playing one SoCon Saturday hoops game there this season that we can promote and put everything into, even if the Wofftard weekend is taken by Hockey..................

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
